(Questioning Apathy)
Sakura Buki Hiken:
-A shy girl around new people and a clumsy, sometimes feisty and gentle girl to the people that she had known.
She had a pink silky hair and two dark red eyes, she doesn’t like to wear any short skirts. Her hair was clip in to both sides, with a red big clip.
She was the only child of the Hiken family, so when they die all of the assets of her parents are now hers.
She plays a violin and had great voice, in her elementary days she had already receive many awards.
Even though she was actually going to marry the eldest of the Heisei family, she falls in love with his younger brother Heisei Shindou. She doesn’t like arrogant people, she rather choose perverts… The one she will be wed to is the one she will bow to protect.
She has a necklace of a black cross that had a pendant of her birthstone, when she is in trouble it will be a weapon.
Heisei Seishou:
-The eldest son of the Heisei family
He was always the brighter side of his little brother Shindou. He has the white shoulder length hair, and a pair of onyx eyes.
Due to good looks he has many fan girls. He was the one who was actually going to marry Sakura Hiken but, he really did not feel anything for her. He just see her as her little sister.
Heisei Shindou:
-Younger brother of Heisei Seishou
He can be sometimes arrogant young man
When she first saw Sakura, it was like a love at first sight.
He hides a secret that only Sakura Buki knows...
Part 1: Denial
Families nowadays don’t believe or do any traditional practices, because they believe that an individual must choose on his or her own.
But my family differs from a normal one…
Mr.Heisei:
A family gathering is being held at a big mansion like house, it’s more like a family meeting. It is a house that was build a long time ago, the house was made in a fine wood so it will stand in a long time.
“This is an important matter to our family, if you will not obey the elders and me we will all get in to trouble.”
Mr. Otsuka the current head of the family, he had two sons that were currently sitting in front of him. The others were at the side and the head or their father was at the middle.
Heisei Seishou:
“It isn’t fair!!” he stands up and said to his father loudly…He was the eldest son of the head.
“Why would I marry her I don’t even know who the heck she is!!?”
All of their relatives look at him and frown, they were disappointed in his attitude. A heads heir should not act like this, and it was said that he was a calm and patient young man… It was highly a lie.
Heisei Shindou:
He was looking at his older brother with a frown too, but with a different reason. He was really sad about what their father was making him to do.
“Brother… please calm down” he manage to mutter, loud enough to let him hear.
Mrs. Heisei:
She was the first person at the left
“Her name is Sakura Buki Hiken, she is seventeen years old three years younger than you. She is studying medicine hoping to be a great doctor someday, both of her parents are dead but leave her quite a fortune. Currently she is leaving alone in their old house…”
She paused and looks at her first born son.
“Will that suffice you?”
Heisei Seishou:
He narrowed his eyes into her mother
“So you want the ‘quite a fortune’ to be ours?? Is that it??!!”
He was a little disgust with his family right now.
Mrs. Heisei:
She sighs
“You got it all wrong… Her parents were close friends, before they die they had one request… And that is to let one of my sons marry her daughter.
She looks at his husband, hoping he will continue… Which he did
Mr. Heisei:
“And we agreed on their request… And since you Seishou already twenty three and don’t have somebody yet, we had decide that you will be the one who shall marry her.
He was not angry at his son, it will take some time that he would understand why they did this.
Heisei Seishou:
“Why can’t Shin marry her?! They are in the same age… And maybe Shin is months older.”
He calls his little brother Shin while his little brother calls him Shou, Shindou’s frown was replaced with a smirk. His brother really didn’t like the idea at all.
Mr. Heisei:
“Maybe if you could see her and chat a little, you might like and maybe be obsessed with her. When I saw and talk to her I quite enjoy it…”
Heisei Seishou:
“Maybe you should divorce mom and marry her…”
First Elder (Gufuu):
“Watch your tongue!”
He said pointing his finger at him.
Second Elder (Ame):
“We already know what you are feeling… But please give her a chance, because she was also willing to give a chance to whomever the man she will be married”
Heisei Seishou:
“Judging by your words, she seems not interested either.”
Third Elder (Raikiri):
“But she is willing to fulfill her parents request…”
The three elders were at the back of Mr. Heisei, they were really stubborn. They will not give up to their mission… Seishou will definitely marry Sakura.
The gathering took a long time to end, they started in the morning and ended at midnight. But Heisei Seishou, Shindou , Mrs. Heisei and Mr. Heisei were still talking at their living room.
Mr. Heisei:
“Alright… this is the deal.”
His wife and sons look at him
“If you Seishou will never be able to like her, Shindou will be the one who will marry her.”
Heisei Shindou:
“Hn. I just don’t want her to be like a crazed fan girl…”
His brother raised a brow at him, finding it little amusing that he is willing to date a girl that he had never met before.
Mr. Heisei:
“She will be moving at the university tomorrow, she will wait at the entrance.”
They went to the dinning room and eat their dinner, but as they ate their dinner their father could not help but say something about her future daughter in law.
“Be nice to her you to, she’s calm, shy and naïve kind of girl. Don’t make hurt or make her cry!”
Heisei Shindou:
“Brother… May be you will get interest in her, you like all of your fan girls… Why can’t she?”
He said in Matter-of-fact tone, his brother was so kind to very people that he met. His nice attitude and good looks made him irresistible to the female race.
Heisei Seishou:
“I don’t like them… I just don’t like to see them cry.”
He remembered the first time that a fan girl gave him a home made chocolates, she was smiling brightly hoping he would accept her gift. But he said no and then she cried, he felt sorry so he accept the chocolates and never reject a gift from a fan girl again.
After they finish eating they return to the living room and continue their discussion.
Mr. Heisei:
“Sakura doesn’t want guys that are very arrogant of themselves, she would rather choose a guy that is a pervert than a arrogant person.”
It was Seishou’s turn to smirk, he look at his brother who had twitch his eye in their father’s comment.
Heisei Seishou:
“So I will really have to marry her…”
Shindou look at his older brother
“Shin is an arrogant young man at school, letting his fan girls get on their knees and beg for a date…”
He smirks while his little brother narrowed his eyes onto him and frowned.
They find themselves getting sleepy, so they went to their on bedroom and fell asleep.
Morning
Heisei Seishou and his little brother Heisei Shindou walk towards the University. When they reach the front gate they saw a crowd forming on a single person. It was definitely a beautiful girl, due to that they were many boys than girls. They decide to check it out.
Shindou:
“Brother! Its—“
“She was Sakura Buki Hiken, it looks like that her hair was one of the leaves that was falling down from the tree creating a soft silky long pink wig. Her eyes were red and had a gentle look on them, if you look at her she was like a goddess.” Shidou said in his mind while staring at her.
Seishou:
“Shin… You’re going gaga on her…”
Shin stop looking…or more like staring at her and let his eyes wonder off somewhere else.
Shindou:
“I am not!”
Seishou:
“No doubt about it… she will change our lives…” he note to himself.
“Miss… Are you Sakura Buki Hiken??” he said to her
She was sitting on the branch of the Sakura tree, she stand up and jump. She landed on her face and amazingly for a girl she wasn’t hurt at all, and also she stand up looking not hurt.
Sakura:
“Yes, I am Sa—kura Hiken. So—you must be Heisei Seishou—san, nice to—meet you.”
She was really shy if it was someone she knew along time ago, she will just be calm in her talking. But apparently maybe it was the wrong landing they saw that made her go shy.
